Wahiawā Brewed is a coffee shop on Kamehameha Highway in Wahiawā, opened by Randy and Rachael Raquino, who were both born and raised in town. The shop is in a former barber shop and held its grand opening Oct. 17.
You can walk in and order at the counter, or pre-order and pre-pay and pick up at the drive-thru window, which is for pre-orders only. Specialty drinks are $8.50 each and named for things that signify Wahiawā: the Leilehua banana bread latte, the Exit 8 chocolate haupia latte, Da Raq Special Chantilly latte and the Keno caramel cookie butter latte. Hot drip is $3.50 and iced lattes are $4.80.
The coffee comes from Haleʻiwa Coffee Roasters, and most of the syrups and all of the cold foams are made in-house.
