The Butcher Bar by Aloha Steak House is a bar and restaurant on Seaside Avenue in Waikīkī that turns trimmings from its sister steakhouse’s prime-grade cuts into new dishes. It describes the menu as sustainable and playful, made with fresh Hawaiian ingredients, and as a counterpoint to Aloha Steak House.
The space is meant for relaxing over a pre-dinner cocktail, a light bite or a full meal. It opens at 4 p.m., with happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m., and offers prix fixe menus and buyouts. Validated parking is available at the Hyatt Centric hotel.
For Honolulu Restaurant Week, Nov. 7–15, The Butcher Bar offers a $70 menu. Restaurant Week menus are dine-in only.
