Pagoda Hotel has welcomed guests on Rycroft Street, near Ala Moana, since 1964. The hotel calls itself an affordable kamaʻāina hotel, and it is known for its Japanese-inspired garden with pagoda statues and its koi pond, which the hotel says has been part of the property for generations.
On site, the Pagoda Floating Restaurant overlooks the koi ponds and is open daily for breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. It is open to the public, and walk-ins are welcome. The hotel also lists an outdoor pool and the koi garden (both open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.), complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site parking, 24-hour coin-operated laundry, the Pagoda Provisions shop, and CU Hawaiʻi, a Korean convenience store open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Pets are not allowed.
The hotel has said Rainbow Drive-In will take over its floating restaurant. As of Oahu Local's Oct. 31 profile of Rainbow Drive-In, no opening date had been announced.
